Biography Highlight

Yin Hejun, male, Han nationality, is a native of Gujiao City, Shanxi province. He was born in 1963, and graduated from the Taiyuan Institute of Technology. He is a member of the CPC. He served as the director of the Institute of Electronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences until 2006, and he was vice-president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2008 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017 he was Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He is was Vice-Mayor of Beijing fro 2017 to 2018. He is an alternate member of the 19th CPC Central Committee and in 2018 he became Deputy Secretary of CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee.
