Biography
Zhao Jinjun, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shandong Province. He was born in 1945 and graduated from the Beijing Foreign Studies University.
After serving nine years at the Chinese embassy in Belgium, Zhao returned to the Department of West European Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1983. For the next twenty years, he alternated between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese embassy in France, his last post being minister-counselor at the embassy. In 2002, he became assistant minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in charge of West European and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan affairs.
