Biography

Zhang Zhiguo, male, Han nationality, is a native of Jiutai, Jilin Province. He was born in 1956 and graduated from the Chinese Department of Northeast Normal University. Zhang received a Master's Degree from the Economics Department of the university in 1996.

Zhang has a long and extensive involvement with Northeast Normal University. After graduating, he served as logistics secretary, section chief and deputy director of the General Services Department, and deputy director of the Infrastructure Department – all at the university.

Even as he worked at the university, he continued his graduate studies and earned a Master's Degree at the university in 1996. Two years later, in 1998, he was promoted to professor. He serves as the vice-president of the university and has considerable responsibilities – directing the university office, retired staff department, natural museum, alumni association, child care committee, and the family planning committee amongst others.

Zhang is also a member of the CPPCC in Jilin Province. His responsibilities with the CPPCC included his member with the CPPCC legal committee.
