Biography
Zhang Wenxue, male, Han nationality, is a native of Wei County, Hebei province. He was born in 1945, joined the CPC in 1966, and graduated from the marine machinery department of Dalian Aquatic Products College. He is an advanced economist.
Zhang held leading Party and CYLC positions in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, where he served as deputy secretary of the CPC Committee until 1976. In the mid-1980's he served as secretary general of the Guangxi People's Government and in 1995 he became director of the standing committee of the Guilin Municipal People's Congress.
Zhang Wenxue was elected vice-chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional People's Government in 1996.
