She graduated from Party School of CPC Central Committee. Zhang served as Member of 10th NPC Standing Committee and Member of 10th NPC Nationalities Committee. Currently, she is a Member of the 11th NPC Standing Committee, Member of the 11th NPC Nationalities Committee andVice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture.
