Yun Xiaosu, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shan County, Henan province. He was born in 1950, received general academic credentials, and joined the CPC in 1971. He spent the early part of his career in the Jiuquan District of Gansu province, where he was secretary of the CPC committee until 1994. Subsequently he served as vice-governor of the province for ten years. Yun is currently vice-minister of the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources.
