Biography
Yuan jiajun, male, Han nationality, he is a native of Tonghua County, Liaoning Province. He is PhD of Engineering, a researcher, doctoral tutor, and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions to National Defense Technology Industry. He also served as vice chairman of the International Astronautical Federation.
He was president of China Academy of Space Technology, vice chairman of China Association for Science, corresponding member of International Academy of Astronautics. He was also an Alternate Member of the 17th CPC Central Committee.
He was Vice-Governor of Zhejiang Province from 2014 to 2017 and in 2017 he was named Governor of Zhejiang Province. He is a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
