Xu Lejiang, male, was born in 1959. In 1982, Xu graduated form the Jiangxi Institute of Metallurgy, and majored in Metallurgy Machinery. In 2000, Xu received his MBA from Fudan University - Hong Kong University and became a Professor and Senior engineer.
In 1982, Xu joined in the Baosteel Group Corporation Limited. While he was in Baosteel, Xu was also a member of China Association for Science and Technology standing committee, a member of Shanghai Municipal Association for Science and Technology committee, Executive Director of Chinese Society for Metals, and the Board Director of Shanghai Baoxin Software Co., Ltd..
Xu awarded for National Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs, and 3rd Outstanding Young Scientists of China Venture. He also published “Vibration Control of Tandem Cold Rolling Mill”. He was an Alternate Member of the 17th CPC Central Committee.
Xu was an alternate member of the 18th CPC Central Committee and served as Chairman of the Board of the Directors of the Baosteel Group Corporation from 2007 to 2016. He is a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
