Biography

Wu Zhenglong, male, Han nationality, is a native of Gaochun County,Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. He was born in 1964, graduated from Taiyuan Mechanical College (North China University at Taiyuan City) with a Bachelor Degree and entered the work force in 1984, and joined the CPC in 1987. From 2013 to 2014, he was Secretary General of CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee. Since Sept 2014 to 2016, he was Secretary of CPC Taiyuan City of Shanxi Province. From 2016 to 2017, he was Secretary of CPC Nanjing City Committee and Deputy Secretary and CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee. In May 2017, he became as Acting Governor and Vice-Governor of Jiangsu Province. He was an alternate member of the 18th CPC Central Committee and is currently a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee. In 2018 he was named Governor of Jiangsu Province.
