Biography
Shi Zhongxin, male, Hui nationality, is a native of Jilin, Jilin Province. He joined the CPC in 1973 and graduated from the graduate school of the Central Party School, majoring in law.
Shi spent the early part of his career in management positions at a wool mill in Jilin. He later joined the Jilin Municipal Textile Industry Company and the Jilin Provincial Textile Industry Department. He also was active in Jilin's labor movement, serving as chairman of the Jilin Municipal Labor Union. Shi has had a successful career in government, and he has served as vice-mayor and mayor of Harbin, and vice-governor of the Heilongjiang Provincial Government.
