Jin Deshui, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shaoxing, Zhejiang province. He was born in 1951, and joined the CPC in 1982. He completed postgraduate courses at the Party school of the Zhejiang Provincial CPC Committee. Jin is an economist. Jin held leading posts in Zhejiang province, where he served as mayor of Ningbo City and Lanxi City. He served as director of the Economic and Trade Commission of Zhejiang province until 1998. He was elected vice-governor of Zhejiang province in 2004.
