Biography
Gu Yucai, male, Han nationality, is a native of Liaoning Province. He was born in 1963, entered the work force in 1985 and joined the CPC in 1991. Gu holds a Doctorate Degree in Archaeology and Museum Study from Jilin University. He was Director of Cultural Heritage Protection Division of State Administration of Cultural Heritage and President of Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage before 2010. Since February 2010, he is Deputy Director of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage.
