Fan Jingyi, male, Han nationality, is a native of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. He was born in 1931, joined the CPC in 1978 and graduated from St. John's University in Shanghai.
Fan has worked as editor of the Liaoning Daily, the Economic Daily, and the People's Daily, and he has won accolades for outstanding journalism. In 1995, he served as president of the Chinese Society of News Photography.
Fan Jingyi was a delegate to the 13th and 14th CPC National Congresses.
