Dai Bingran, male, Han nationality, is a native of Hongzhou, Zhejiang province. He was born in 1940, graduated from Shanghai Jinyuan High School in 1959, and studied at the English Department of the Foreign Languages Institute of the PLA. Later he trained as a teacher, and began his teaching career in the Foreign Languages Institute after graduation in 1964.
