Zhu Yongxin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Dafeng City, Jiangsu Province. He was born in 1958, entered the work force in 1982 and joined the China Association for Promoting Democracy in 1988. He served as Vice Mayor of Suzhou City Government from 1997 to 2008. Currently, he is Member of 11th NPC Standing Committee, Member of 11th NPC Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee, Vice-Chairman of China Association for Promoting Democracy Central Committee and Vice-Chairman of Chinese Education Society.
