Biography

Zhuo Xinping, male, Tujia Nationality, is a native of Cili County, Hunan Province. He was born in 1955 and graduated from English Department of Changde Teacher’s College in 1974. Zhuo earned a Master Degree in Philosophy from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 1981 and a Doctorate Degree from Philosophy Department of Munich University in Germany in 1987. He currently serves as a Member of the 11th NPC Standing Committee, Member of the 11th NPC Credentials Committee, Member of the 11th NPC Nationalities Committee, Director of the World Religion Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Director of the Christianity Research Center of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and a he is a Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
