Zhang Shitang 张世堂
President of the Board of Directors of the Tianjin Automobile Group
Biography
A veteran presence in the Tianjin business community, Zhang has spent his adult career working in the city. He served as director for both the Tianjin Switch Factory and Tianjin Kuangshan Electrical Implements Factory before leaving to manage the Tianjin Electrical Implements Switch Company.
In 1996, he left for the Tianjin Machine and Electricity Industrial Company to direct their financial adjustment department. The following year, he assumed party secretary and director positions at Tianjin No. 1 Machine Tool Factory.
A vice-dean of Tianjin's economy committee, Zhang became president of the board of directors of Tianjin Automobile Group in 2002.
