Zeng Xianlin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Anyue, Sichuan province. He was born in 1929, graduated from Moscow Stalin Machine Tools and Tools Institute in Russia, and joined the CPC in 1947.
Zeng spent over a decade as director and deputy engineer at the Dalian Machine Tools Plant, and in 1986 he became vice-minister of the State Planning Commission. In the following year, he was elected Minister of the Ministry of Light Industry.
Zeng Xianlin was an alternate member of the 13th and 14th CPC Central Committees.
