Yu Wenming, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shanxian County, Shandong Province. He was born in 1963, graduated from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Pharmacies with a Bachelor Degree in 1985, from Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a Master Degree in 1988, entered the work force in 1988 and joined the Chinese Peasants and Worker Democratic Party in 1991. From 1997 to 2004, he was Director of China Chinese Medicine Technology Development and Exchange Center. Since 2004, he is Deputy Director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
