Yu Shuxia, female, Han nationality, is a native of Taizhou, Zhejiang province. She was born in 1939 and graduated from Beijing Normal University. She is a mathematics professor. Yu served as vice-president of Guangxi University in 1997. She was elected vice-chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Regional CPPCC Committee in the following year.
