Biography
Yin Guomao, male, Han nationality, is a native of Longkou, Shandong Province. He was born in 1932 and graduated from the Machinery Department of Dalian Science and Engineering University. Yin is a member of the CPC.
Yin spent the early part of his career as a professor in the material and metallurgy school at Northeast University as well as a part-time senior engineer at the Chengdu Seamless Steel Pipe Factory. He was a director of the China Metallurgical Society and honorary chief director of the Steel Pipe Association. In 1986, he was awarded the title an expert with outstanding contribution.
In 1995, he was elected as an academician to the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
