Biography
Yang Chengwen, male, Han nationality, is a native of Qiuxian, Hebei Province. He was born in 1954 and graduated from Hebei Mining College in 1979 with a major in steel making.
A senior engineer, Yang began his career as a technician at the Hangang Chief Engineer Office before moving to the First Steel Mill for a series of positions, primarily in the raw material and iron-melting sector. He was deputy director of the sector before becoming first the deputy chairman and then the chairman of the dispatch center at the First Steel Mill.
Yang became the deputy general manager of the Handan Steel & Iron Group Company Limited in 2001.
