Tang Minwei, male, Han nationality.. He graduated from the Department of Metallurgy of Chongqing University and joined the CPC.
Tang has spent his career in the metallurgy industry. He served in several management roles prior to becoming chairman of Chongqing Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. He also worked for the Sichuan provincial government and held CPC committee positions in business and the Sichuan provincial government. He holds the title of professor-grade senior engineer.
