Ou Guangyuan, male, Han nationality, is a native of Guangdong Province, Shunde. He spent most of his career in Guangdong Province and held key positions in this province.

He was an alternate member of the 14th, 15th, and 16th CPC Central Committees. In 2008, he became Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress.
