Biography

Mei Xiangming, male, Han nationality, is a native of Huangmei, Hubei Province. He was born in l928, and graduated from the Department of Mathematical Astronomy of Zhongshan University.

Mei has spent 50 years as an academic in the field of mathematics, largely in the Beijing area. He is the author of books on Infinitesimal Geometry and Higher Geometry. He has also been an official of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, of the Beijing Municipal People's Congress, and of the CPPCC National Committee.
