Liu Zhifeng, male, Han nationality, is a native of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. He was born in 1946, joined the CPC in 1966, and graduated from the organic chemistry department of East China College pf Chemical Industry in 1970.
Liu Zhifeng spent a large part of his career with the Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical Corporation serving in a variety of posts with the corporation: technician, deputy head, deputy CPC secretary, secretary, and senior political worker. Following his time with the Beijing Yanshan Petrochemical Corporation, Liu went on to work at the State Council‘s Housing System Reform Leading Group, with the State Commission for Restructuring the Economy, and finally as the vice-minister of construction.
Since 1998 Liu Zhifeng has served as the vice-minister of construction.
