Li Xiusheng, male, Han nationality, is a native of Jiangsu province. He was born in 1941, graduated from University of Petroleum at Beijing, and became a full professor of oil development and production at the university. In 1992 he became president of the University of Petroleum at Huadong and chairman of the academic committee. From 2002 - 2005, he served as president of the China University of Petroleum at Beijing and chairman of the academic committee.
In 2005 he became President of Haikou College of Economics and Vocational Technology.
