Jiang Yaoping, male, Han Nationality, was born in 1952. He is a native of Wujin, Jiangsu Province. He joined the CPC in 1974 and graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages of Guangxi College of Nationalities in 1976. Jiang also holds a master degree in information management from the BI Norwegian School of Management. Later, Jiang received a PHD in Management Science and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology. He holds the rank of senior engineer. He is Vice-Minister of Commerce Ministry since 2008.
As vice-minister and member of the Leading Party Group of the Ministry of Commerce, he is responsible for the Department of Mechanical, Electronic and Hi-Tech Industry, the Department of Information Technology, the International Business Daily and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products.
