Biography
Gao Feng, male, Han nationality, is a native of Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province. He was born in 1956 and is a member of the CPC. After service at the Kaoshan Commune in Heilongjiang Province from 1974 to 1976, he received BA and MA degrees from the Northeast Heavy Machinery Institute, and remained at the Institute and its successor, Yanshan University, until 1998.
From 1998 to 1991, Gao was deputy chief of the Training Section in the Graduate Department of Yanshan University and a student at Beijing Aerospace University. He received a doctorate degree from Beijing Aerospace University in 1991.
He did postdoctoral studies at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver from 1995 to 1997, returned to Yanshan University in 1997, became vice-president of Hebei University of Technology in 1999 and president in 2002.
