Biography
Chou Jifan, male, Han nationality, a native of Changsha, Hunan Province, graduated from the Department of Physics of Beijing University. He was a professor at the Beijing Institute of Meteorology and was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1993.
Chou is an expert on aerology and has done extensive research in weather forecasting.
