Chen Xin, male, Han nationality, was born in 1941.
A deputy chief engineer at the Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology at SINOPEC, Chen has received numerous honors in the 1990s for his work. He was honored with a China Patent Creation and Invention Gold Prize from the China Patent Office and World Intellectual Property Organization. In 1997, he won the Gold Prize from the 11th National Invention Exhibition and World Intellectual Property Organization. Chen is also the winner of the Nie Rongzhen Invention and Innovation Prize.
