Biography
Chen Mengxiong, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shangyu, Zhejiang Province. He was born in Nanjing, graduated from the Geology Department of the National Southwest Associated University and is a noted expert on hydrogeology.
Chen has been senior engineer in the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources and the Research Center of Science and Technology, as well as deputy chief engineer in the Hydrogeologic Engineering Bureau of the Geological Ministry. In 1991, he was named senior academician in the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
