Cao Bochun, male, Han nationality, is a native of Zhuzhou, Hunan Province. He was born in 1941, graduated from Zhuzhou School of Aeronautical Industry, and joined the CPC in 1966.
Trained in aeronautical engineering, Cao early worked in aircraft and other military factories in Jiangnan. Later he became vice-governor of Hunan Province, then deputy secretary of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee. In the late 1990s, he was secretary of the CPC Guangxi Zhuang Regional Committee.
Cao was a member of 15th CPC Central Committee. He is a member of the 16th CPC Central Committee.
In 2006, Cao became deputy director of the Environment and Resources Protection Committee of the NPC.
