Bao Kexin, male, Han nationality, is a native of Wenzhou, Zhejiang province. He was born in 1952, graduated from the Beijing Institute of Economics, and joined the CPC in 1973. Bao is an economist.
Bao Kexin spent most of his career at the State Planning Commission, where he served as director of the Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Department until 1998. Bao was appointed deputy governor of Guizhou province in 2002.
