Biography Highlight

Ho Iat Seng, male, Han nationality, is a native of Yiwu, Zhejiang Province. He was born in June 1957, graduated from Pooi To Middle School in 1976, and went to Zhejiang University for post-graduated studies in 1992. He was former standing member of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Member of Government Economic Committee of Macao Special Administration Region, Standing Member of Macao Federation of Industry and Commerce, Chairman of Macao Import and Export Industry and Commerce Committee etc. From 2013 to 2019, he was President of The Legislative Assembly of Macau Special Administrative Region. In August 25, 2019, he was elected as the fifth Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region. He will officially take office on December 20, 2019.
