Biography

Zheng Xiaoyu, male, Han nationality, is a native of Fuzhou, Fujian Province. Zheng was born in 1944, joined the CPC in 1979 and graduated from Fudan University.

Zheng spent most of his career in the pharmaceutical industry. He began his career as a technician at Hanzhou No. 1 Pharmaceutical Factory and later served in management at the Hangzhou Minsheng Pharmaceutical Factory. He also served as president of the Zhejiang Provincial Council of Trade Unions prior to becoming director of the State Food and Drug Administration.

Zheng was a delegate to the 15th CPC National Congress.
