Biography
Zhao Zongqi, male, Han nationality, is a native of Bin County, Heilongjiang Province. He was born in 1955, and joined the PLA in 1970. From 2008 to 2012, he was Chief Staff of Jinan Military Region of PLA. From November 2012 to 2016 he was Commander of Jinan Military Region of PLA. In 2015 he was promoted to General, PLA.
He was a member of the 18th CPC Central Committee and is now a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee. In 2016 he became Commander of the Western Theater Command.
