Biography

Xu Shaoshi, male, Han nationality, is a native of Ningbo, Zhejiang province. He was born in 1951, entered the work force in 1969 and joined the CPC in 1974. He holds a master's of economics. He served as deputy secretary-general of the State Council until 2007, and he served as minister of the Ministry of Land and Resources from 2007 to 2013. He was also a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee.

He was a member of the 18th CPC Central Committee and from 2013 to 2017 he was Minister of the National Development and Reform Commission.
