Biography

Wang Min, male, Han nationality, is a native of Huainan City, Anhui province. He was born in 1950, entered the work force in 1968 and joined the CPC in 1985. Wang served as vice-governor of the Jiangsu People's Government in the late 1990's until 2003, and in the following year he was elected deputy secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee.

Wang served as Governor of Jilin Province from 2005 - 2006. From 2006-2009 Wang served as secretary of the Jilin Provincial CPC Committee. He was a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee and from 2009 to 2015 he was Secretary of the Liaoning CPC Provincial Committee. In 2010 he became Chairman of the Standing Committee of Liaoning Provincial People's Congress.

He is now a member of the 18th CPC Central Committee.
