Biography

Uyunqimg, female, Mongolian, is a native of Beipiao, Liaoning Province. She was born in 1942 and joined the CPC in 1966.

Uyunqimg held Party positions in the CPC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee, becoming deputy secretary in 2001. Earlier, she served as Director of the Women's Federation of Inner Mongolia. In 2000, she became chairman of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional People's Government.

Uyunqimg was an alternate member of the 14th and 15th CPC Central Committees and a member of the 16th CPC Central Committee. She is currently a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee and a vice-chairman of the 11th NPC Standing Committee.
