Biography Highlight

Nie Weiguo, male, Han nationality, is a native of Nanchuan County, Chongqing municipality. He was born in 1952, entered the work force in 1969, joined the CPC in 1978 and attended the Party school from 1993 to 1996. Nie began his career at the Nanchuan County Phosphate Fertilizer Plant, where he was promoted to secretary of the CPC committee. In the early 1980s he served as secretary of the CPC Nanchuan County Committee, and subsequently moved to Fuling city, where he served a term as mayor.
