Biography

Li Xinhua, male, Han nationality, is a native of Zhejiang Province. He was born in 1951 and graduated from Hangzhou University.

Li joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1974 and was assigned to the Chinese Mission at the UN in 1981. From 1986 to 1998 he held positions in the Department of Personnel, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the State Council. He was named ambassador to Finland in 1998. He returned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2001 and was named assistant minister in charge of administrative and financial affairs.
