Biography

Jing Zhiyuan, male, Han nationality, is a native of Xiangfan County, Hubei province. He was born in 1944, joined the CPC in 1969, joined the PLA in 1963, was appointed commandant of the 56th base of the Second Artillery Force, and became commandant of the 52nd base in 1997. Jing took the post as the chief of staff of the Second Artillery Force in 1999 and as commandant of the Second Artillery Force in 2003. He was promoted to lieutenant general in 2001. In 2004, he was promoted to the rank of general by the Military Commission of the CPC Central Committee.

Jing Zhiyuan is a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee and a member of the 17th CPC Central Military Commission.
