Biography
Fang Zhaoxiang, male, Han nationality, is a native of Anqing, Anhui Province. Fang was born in 1942 and joined the CPC in 1971.
Fang served as deputy secretary of the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee before becoming secretary-general in 1990. In 2000, he became chairman of the CPPCC Anhui Provincial Committee.
Fang was a delegate to the 14th NPC National Congress and a deputy to the 9th NPC.
