Biography
Chen Qiufa, male, Miao Nationality, was born in 1954 and is a native of Miao Autonomous County of Chengbu of Hunan Province. He is Vice Minister of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Director of China Atomic Energy Authority. In 2009, he became Director of the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (SASTIND) and in 2010, he became Director of the China National Space Administration (CNSA).
He was a member of the 18th CPC Central Committee. In 2015 he became Deputy Secretary of CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Governor of Liaoning Province. In 2017 he became a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee and Secretary of CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee.
