Zhu Guangyao, male, Han nationality, is a native of Yiyang, Hunan Province. He was born in 1944, graduated from the Central-South China Institute of Forestry and joined the CPC in 1975.
Zhu spent the early years of his career in Party and judicial roles in Lingxian County, Hunan Province. He served as a deputy magistrate and magistrate in Lingxian County. In 1986, he became director of the Afforestation and Management Department of the Ministry of Forestry. He later became vice-minister of the Ministry of Forestry.
