Zhou Mingfu, male, Han nationality, is a native of Rizhuang, Shandong province. He was born in 1945, joined the CPC in 1972, and graduated from the agriculture department of Nanjin Agriculture College. Zhou held leading posts in the State Economic Commission and the State Nationality Affairs Commission, where he became director of the general office in 1992. He was elected deputy secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regional CPC Committee in 2003.
