Biography
Zhang Jiyao, male, Han nationality is a native of Jinan, Shandong province. He was born in 1945, graduated from the East China Institute of Water Conservancy in 1967 and joined the Party in 1979.
For twenty years, Zhang engaged in technological and administrative affairs of SINOHYDRO BUREAU 14 CO., LTD He also served as deputy director of SINOHYDRO BUREAU 14 CO., LTD. From 2003 to 2010, he was director of the Construction Commission Office of the South-to-North Water Diversion. Zhang was a delegate to the 15th and 17th CPC National Congress.
He is currently an alternate member of the 17th CPC Central Committee and Vice-Chairman of the 11th CPPCC Population, Resources and Environment Committee.
