Yu Zeyou, male, Han nationality, is a native of Huai'an, Hebei province. He was born in 1932, graduated from the Beijing Institute of Petroleum, and joined the China Democratic League in 1981. Yu Zeyou spent the early part of his career working at the Dandong Chemical Fiber Industrial Corporation, eventually becoming the general manager and director. Subsequently, he served as vice-chairman of the China Democratic League Dandong City Committee, and he was a member of the standing committee of the 6th and 7th China Democratic League Central Committees.
