Biography

Xi Guohua, male, Han nationality, is was born in 1951, graduated from Hefei University of Technology, and obtained a master's degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University. He holds the title of senior engineer. Xi has been trained in the United States and other countries abroad.

Xi Guohua has had a successful career in the telecommunications industry. He has served as deputy director of the Shanghai Posts and Telecommunications Administration and chairman of the Shanghai Bell Company. He was elected vice-minister of information in 2001.

He is a member of the 17th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
